Metalachi San Diego Concert reviews
Still Rockin & Belting it out
Ms Benatar, on the performance by Metalachi on Thursday night, displayed that she still possesses what it requires to captivate an audience, leaving them craving for more. Her band, led by husband Neil Giraldo and 20-year veteran Drummer Myron Grombacher, delved into timeless classics alongside some lesser-known tunes, all of which were received extremely well. A downside to their performance was noted due to the band's use of pre-recorded tracks, or "loops," instead of including additional musicians like a keyboardist. As a devoted fan of Ms Benatar's work, it would be absolutely fantastic to listen to Pat and the Band perform "No You Don't" - possibly during the Summer Leg of her Tour! One can only hope. Peace, RAS.
